About the Author
Andy Forsyth
Born in Southern California, author Andy Forsyth enjoyed going to the beach as a youngster with his family and began surfing early in his teens. His father taught him to body surf and to read the waves and even tried to surf himself once as a young man. With a short drive to the beach he and his buddies made their way to the shore as often as possible to go surfing and they sometimes ventured farther up and down the coast exploring other locations.
